MARION ELLA BICKER

Born in Lockport NY on December 1, 1932. Marion is daughter of the late Florence Gertrude Smith and Harrison H Bullard. Sibling to the late William Bullard (Estella), Lavelle Bullard (Deidre), Marjorie Hulshoff (Carl). Survived by brother Lavern Bullard. (Sally)

Marion was known to many as the ‘AAA lady’! She retired as President and CEO of the Niagara-Orleans Automobile Club concluding 47 years of service. Marion loved traveling the world, family, her home and gardens. Mom, Gram, Gg, Auntie put family first.

She shared her love of adventure and travel with her daughter, Margaret Turner (Robert Daley), granddaughter Stephanie Giampa (Marc Jr), grandson Jeffrey Turner (Pamela), great grandchildren Madelyn and Marc III, niece Florence Hulshoff and late sister Marge. Marion served as deacon of the Wrights Corner’s Presbyterian Church, was active in the YWCA-Lockport Y teens, served as a Board member for the Wyndham Lawn Home for Children and a member of Zonta international. She participated in Lockport in Bloom garden walk tour sharing with others the beauty of her home/gardens.

The family plans a private burial at Wrights Corners cemetery, Wrights Corner, NY.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, 330 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215 (colorectal surgery) or online at bidmc.org to further research/innovation for medically induced colon damage repair.
