Mark James "Flash" Morreall, passed away suddenly on October 29, 2025. He as born in Rochester, NY on December 25, 1955 to the late Ward and Ethel Morreall. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law: Janet Maines and her husband Harry Maines.
Mark was a US Army Veteran serving in Korean and as such was very involved with our Veterans and donated time to go visit and bring them treats. He was an active member of the Holley American Legion and the VFW. Mark had many interests among those were: he was a very talented artist and was a master at wood carvings. His poems are unbelievable works of art in and of themselves and many would consider them worthy of being published. Mark was always there to help and had many friends with his meeting groups and was truly loved by many.
He leaves behind his wife of 41 years Susan, his daughter: Kelsey Morreall, his son: Sean (Shelby) Morreall, his brother: Fred Morreall, his sister: Carol Nowry, his father-in-law: Kermit (Pamela) Mercer, sister-in-law: Debbie (John) Mercer as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and so many people he has helped over the years.
There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life in honor of Mark will be held at the New Hope Community Church (formerly Medina Baptist Church), at a time to be announced in the near future. Private interment with Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to : The Patient Activity Fund of the Batavia VA Medical Center, 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY, 14020.
