Martha "Marty" Landauer

(Albion) Martha J. “Marty” Landauer age 72, passed away peacefully at Unity Hospital. She was born January 27, 1954 in Albion, a daughter of the late Cleon and Martha (Kuhns) Whiting and had lived in this area all of her life.

Marty was known to be a little spitfire and a bit sassy with a contagious laugh. She worked as a Pharmacist Aid for Albion Correctional Facility and Albion Rite Aid. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, fishing, camping, crafting, having cocktails and her dogs. Most importantly, Marty loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Eugene and father of her children John Landauer.

She is survived by her sons, John Harley Landauer, Michael (Kelly) Landauer; her daughter and best friend Jessica (Steve Bescherer) Landauer; granddaughter Nova; fur grand-baby Lucy; brother Michael (Eileen) Whiting; sister-in-law Terri Whiting; friend Arnie Ward as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 W. Ave. Albion on Friday February 13th 4:00pm-7:00pm. Burial will be in the spring in Waterport Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lipson Cancer Institute, 127 North St, Batavia, NY 14020.
