Mary R. Coveney (Rice)

Pittsford/Albion:  Mary R. Coveney, 98, passed away peacefully August 17, 2022.  She was born December 10, 1923 in Albion the daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl Anna Rice.  Mary was a graduate of Albion High School class of 1940 and was a member of Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church.  Mary was a former employee of Albion Savings and Loan and the Village of Albion.

She was predeceased by her husband John Stanley Coveney in 1989 and a son-in-law Ronald Zwick.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Karen Zwick and Jenny Coveney; grandchildren, Rebecca Coe, John Zwick, Jenna Popoli and Claire Popoli; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary’s mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church 106 S. Main St. Albion on Saturday September 3, at 10:00am.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
