Mary Lou Napolean

December 31, 1969 — December 31, 2020

Obituary of Mary Lou Napolean (Rochester) Mary L. Napoleon (Mary Lou) passed away December 31, 2020 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. Born July 22, 1929, she was the devoted and loving daughter of Dominick and Rose (Fiocca) Napoleon. After graduating from Our Lady of Mercy High School in 1946, Mary entered the workforce as a typist for the Shuron Optical Company. Over the years, Mary acquired many secretarial skills and continued her education at both Rochester Business Institute and Nazareth College. In 1964, she secured a position at Eastman Kodak Company where she successfully worked in the Film Emulsion and Plate Manufacturing Division until her retirement. One of Mary’s passions was to travel to Italy to visit many of her relatives. Many times, her relatives would travel to the U.S. Mary would love to show them around various parts of the country, such as New York City and Niagara Falls. Mary was a devoted Catholic all her life; she was an inspiration to those of the Faith. Mary was also a cat lover and seemed to always have the company of at least one or two cats in her house. Mary is survived by many cousins on both sides of the family. She will be remembered as a kind, caring, and generous person. She will be greatly missed. Her Memorial Mass will be held Thursday July 22nd at 10am at Holy Family Parish in Albion. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Albion.
