(ALBION)

Milton E. "Milt" Boyer, departed this life peacefully on January 21, 2026, at the age of 82. A lifelong resident of this area, Milt was born on December 13, 1943 in Lackawanna, as the son of the late Milton and Margaret Boyer.

Milt was a dedicated husband, father, brother, grandpa, great grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Dorothy, who steadfastly stood by his side throughout their life's journey. Milt also leaves behind a loving legacy in his children: James Boyer, Timothy (Deb) Boyer, Douglas (Pam) Boyer, Julia (Timothy) Bowman, and Jennifer (Jay) Torres. He will be fondly remembered by his sister, June Allen, and sister-in-law: Rosemary Boyer. Milt is also survived by his grandchildren: Amber (Dominick Sidari), Tyler Boyer, Ashley Boyer, Kenneth (Michayla) Boyer, Timothy Bowman, Bethany Bowman, Levi (Logan) Boyer, McKenna (Donato Rosario), Aubrey Boyer, Jullian Torres, Jaylin Torres, Matthew Boyer, 4 great granddaughters as well as nieces and nephews.

A man of deep faith and simple pleasures, Milt was an avid reader of the Bible and a regular attendee at church; his spiritual journey rooted deeply within the community of Albion First Presbyterian Church. He found joy in the serene beauty of nature, often taking car rides to appreciate the grace of deer and eagles, and casting a fishing line in tranquil waters. Milt was a patron of life's ordinary wonders, whether it was recording and watching home videos or sitting in his backyard, reveling in the antics of chipmunks, squirrels, and birds.

Milt's professional life reflected his dedication and hard work. After attending Albion High School and completing an apprenticeship program at Rochester Institute of Technology, he embarked on a long and fulfilling career as a machinist at GM Rochester Products, where he retired after 37 years of exemplary service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Margaret Boyer; his in-laws, Chauncey and Dorothy Miller; his brothers, John and Kenneth Boyer; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Allen and Lynn Miller.
