Nancy R. Gallipeau

(Albion) Nancy R. Gallipeau age 83, passed away Sunday June 18, 2023 at Highland Hospital.  She was born November 25, 1939 in Albion, a daughter of the late Clayton “Pete” and Clara (Draper) Gibbs and had lived in this area all of her life.   

Nancy was a member of the Barre Center Presbyterian Church.  She worked for many years at the Office for the Aging in Albion.  She enjoyed hand painting China dinnerware; but most importantly, she loved taking care of her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Marcia Smith and infant sister Catherine Lea Gibbs. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Larry; her sons Richard Gallipeau and David Gallipeau; her grandchildren Mark (Tiffany) Gallipeau, Brandon Gallipeau, Olivia Gallipeau, Molly Gallipeau; her great-grandchildren Mason and Jayce; her brothers Donald (Margaret) Gibbs, Clayton “Butch” (Joanne) Gibbs, Jr., Gary (Kathy) Gibbs as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Memorials may be made to the Barre Center Presbyterian Church, 4706 Oak Orchard Rd., Albion NY 14411.  The family would like to thank the workers at Highland Hospital (Rochester) West 4^th for taking care of mom.
