Norma B. Longrod, age 100, died June 7, 2026 at the Leroy Village Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 12, 2025 in Kendall to Avery and Nora (Carter) Buck and was a life-long resident of this area.
Norma was a 1943 Graduate of Charlotte High School and had attended the Albion Free Methodist Church. Norma was a strong, independent and loving woman who was an avid sewer and crocheter, having had made numerous clothing items for her grandchildren. Norma also loved to bake...especially apple pies and cookies.
She is survived by her son: Dana (Patty) Longrod of Kendall, her sister: Leslee (Douglas) Lockwood of Albion, her grandchildren: Elizabeth and James (Emma) and her nieces: Rebecca and Melanie.
There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service in Mt. Albion Cemetery on SATURDAY JUNE 20th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: P.A.W.S., 3371 Gaines Basin Road, Albion, New York, 14411. Norma's arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.
