Norman J. Banty Jr.

Albion: Norman J. Banty Jr., age 55, passed away suddenly May 23, 2025 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. Norman was born May 26, 1969 in San Diego, CA., a son of Muriel Allen and the late Norman J. Banty Sr. Norman enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, boating and anything outside. He was a graduate of Albion High School. Norman was a very hard worker and was employed at Whiting Door, Brunners and most recently at Tops in Medina.

He is survived by his son Michael Becker and daughter Elizabeth Banty, his mother Muriel Allen, siblings, Patricia (Harold) Gross, Malinda (Steve Cacner) Blakeman and Richard (Denise Lunge) Banty and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.

Norman’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 W. Avenue, Albion, on Tuesday May 27, 2025 from 2:00-6:00 only. Private interment in Transit Cemetery at a later date.
