Paul Henry Platt

Obituary of Paul Henry Platt Appleton: Paul “Pete” Henry Platt, son of Albert and Melvina Platt, passed away July 10, 2021, in the very home in which he was born, March 13, 1936. Paul was an avid dairy farmer for seven decades, was past president of the Niagara County Farm Bureau, ran for supervisor in the Town of Somerset, had legislation passed in Albany for the prohibiting of “Jack Lighting”, enjoyed making music, and watching westerns. Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda (Peters) Platt, children, Arthur (Darleen), Betsy (Tim) Pratt, Cora (Mark) Popp, and Delbert Platt. Paul is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to Niagara Hospice for its excellent care and support. Funeral arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
