Paula Brooks

Paula J. Brooks, age 78, of Waterport passed away suddenly in her home on July 20, 2026.

Born April 30, 1948 in Albion, she was the daughter of the late George and Adeline S. (Mack) Millis. Paula graduated from Albion high school, Class of 1966. She went on to further her education at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, where she earned her associate's degree. Paula most recently worked as a Bank Teller for Bank of America in Albion.

Paula remained a social member of the Elks Club after her husbands passing in 2017. She had a passion for traveling, going anywhere and seeing everywhere she could. Paula also loved flowers and gardening. She was an avid crafter and animal lover.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Tory; her brother David Millis; and brothers in-law Charles Mele and Ken Haley.

Paula is survived by her siblings, Linda Haley and Dr. Darryl (Linda) Millis; sisters in-law, Mary Jo Mele and Joan Millis; brother in-law, C. Scott (Linda) Brooks; as well as several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.

There will be no formal services held at this time. Interment will be in Carlton Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials in Paula's name may be made to P.A.W.S., 3371 Gaines Basin Rd, Albion, NY 14411.
