Peter F. Carstensen

Albion: Peter F. Carstensen, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2026. He was born May 3, 1959, in Rochester to the late Cornelius and Mary Pat (Forestal) Carstensen.

Peter worked for many years as a painter and was an avid collector of various items.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Kevin, Katie and Dennis.

Peter is survived by his daughter JoDee (Cory) Smiley, grandchildren Gideon and Odin, siblings, Mary Pat Carstense, Suzanne (Jack) Treese, Joanne (Wayne) Smith as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service to celebrate Peter's life will be held at a later date.

Peter's arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY.
