Obituary of Phyllis Hayward Moise Phyllis Hayward Moise, 93, of Scottsdale AZ passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021. Phyllis was born on April 29, 1927 in Buffalo, New York to H. Kenneth and Ruth Hayward. She was the eldest of two daughters and was predeceased by her sister, Shirley R. Davis of Henrietta, New York. Phyllis graduated from West High School in Rochester, NY, and the Rochester Business Institute. She was married to Theodore S. Moïse III in 1960 and shared 29 years of marriage before his death. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth, her son, Ted, daughter-in-law Lisa, and brother-in-law Roy. She has two granddaughters, Emily Moïse and Sydney Moïse. She is also survived by her nieces Denise (Zbigniew) Scislowski and Pamela (Art) Hulme. She enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, and various other creative crafts and donated her work to the Hospice of the Valley and other charities. Phyllis was a long-time member of the Mountain View Presbyterian Church and P.E.O. International. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, at 1:00PM at the Mountain View Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale, AZ. A Committal Service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 27th, at 11AM at the Mount Albion Cemetery in Albion, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the ASPCA, the American Cancer Society, the Hospice of the Valley or the Mountain View Presbyterian Church.
