Raymond M. Blacklock

(Barker/Newfane) Raymond M. Blacklock age 70, passed away peacefully April 3, 2024 at Niagara Hospice surrounded by his loving wife.  He was born August 21, 1953 in Lockport, a son of the late Maurice and Dorothy (Chase) Blacklock. 

Ray was an avid outdoorsman and loved gardening and hunting.  His passion was woodworking and made many keepsakes for family and friends.  Ray volunteered at the Faith United Methodist Church food pantry.  Most importantly, Ray loved spending time with his family and friends.  

 In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Ray is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cheryl; daughter Christine Hoskinson; son Derick Hoskinson; siblings Sharon (Roy) Pacheco, Lauren (Ann) Budde, Millie Harris; sisters-in-law Jane (late Melvin) Budde, Pam (Rick) Ebling and their daughters and families as well as several other in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport, Wednesday April 10^th 11:00am-1:00pm where his Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm.  Burial in Hartland Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Rd., Lockport NY 14094 or the Faith United Methodist Church food pantry, 1449 Quaker Rd., Barker NY 14012.
