Robert C. "Bob" Albone

Robert C. Albone, age 82, died February 2, 2022 in his home following a long illness.

He was born April 15, 1939 in North Tonawanda to Everett and Bernard (Briggs) Albone and was a life-long resident of this area.  Bob was US Navy Veteran and a member of the Middleport United Methodist Church.  He was a Charter Member of the Middleport Jaycees, worked for 2 years at the Middleport Western Auto Store and was employed for over 39 years at Monroe Electronics of Lyndonville.  Bob loved camping and was a Scout Master for Middleport Troop #43 Boy Scouts of America, having graduated 5 Eagle Scouts.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time at “The Property.”  Bob was a devoted family man who loved his dog “Cooper” but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mr. Albone was predeceased by a brother: David Albone.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Barbara, his children: Bobbi (David) Huntington of Gasport, Terry (Karen) Albone of Lockport, Dawn (Wesley) Rosentreter of Medina, Earl (Karen) Albone of PA, Murray (Tammy) Albone of Gasport, his brother: Eugene Albone of Lockport, his sister: Darlene Baker of TX, 12 grand children, 14 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

Bob’s Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the Middleport United Methodist Church and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY, 14094 or the Middleport United Methodist Church, 9 Park Ave., Middleport, NY, 14105.

Bob’s arrangements were entrusted to the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home of Middleport.
