Obituary of Robert William Briggs Robert Briggs, 61, of Wilson, died suddenly December 28, 2019. He was born November 28, 1958 in Newfane a son of Deloris (Smith) Briggs and the late William Luther Briggs. Bob was a graduate of Wilson High School and loved spending time with his friends, 4 wheeling and hot rods. In addition to his father, Bob was predeceased by his sister, Debra Lawrence. He is survived by his mother, Deloris Briggs and niece, Lynn Draper; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday January 2, from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 E. Avenue, Newfane, NY 14108. Bob’s Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 3, at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
