Rodney French

Rodney G. French, age 72 passed away January 15, 2026. He was born October 3, 1953 in Medina to the late Joseph and Mildred (Gilbert) French and was a life-long resident of this area.

Rodney worked for many years as a line-worker at General Electric in Brockport. He loved to ride his motorcycle as well as play various games such as Scrabble and Chess. Rodney also enjoyed reading, hunting and muscle cars.

In addition to his parents, Rodney was predeceased by his siblings Roger French, Janice Scholes and Beverlyt Harrington..

Rodney is survived by his sisters: Pamela French, Carol (James) Freeman, Mildred (Joseph) Sanfilippo, and his Brother Joseph (Melinda) French. as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great and great-great nephews and nieces.

Rodney's family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Wednesday January 21, 2026 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. His funeral service will held at the funeral home at 3:00pm following visitation. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
