Rodney J. Herriven

Rodney J. Herriven, age 75, died peacefully at his residence November 15, 2022 following a brief illness.  He was born March 8, 1947 in Middleport to Walter and Alberta (Howes) Herriven and was a life-long resident of this area.

Rodney was a 31-year employee of Harrison Radiator where he worked as a Skin Pack Operator.  He enjoyed building things, working on cars, gardening and in years past, hunting as well.  Rodney’s greatest love came in the form of spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.    Mr. Herriven was predeceased by his first wife Judith (Hale) Herriven and his second wife Joanne (Derr) Herriven.

He is survived by his children: Bobbi Wenzel of Middleport, Sankey Herriven of Lockport, Lori Strough of TN, his brother: Gary (Bev) Herriven of Barker and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours and his service and interment will be held privately in Hartland Central Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 2675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY, 141094 or the American Cancer Society, 1120 S.
