Roger J. Furmanski

Albion: Roger J. Furmanski, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2026. He was born September 16, 1948 in Albion to the late John and Virginia (Sledzik) Furmanski.

Roger attended St. Mary's Catholic School before graduating from Albion High School. He served his country in the US Army from 1968-1970. He worked for many years at Lipton's as a cook before working at Pennett Products in Rochester, where he retired from as a cook as well.

Roger is survived by his son Roger (Terri) Furmanski, grandchildren Elizabeth (Chester) Boring, Thomas Furmanski, sisters Karen (Charles) Lawrence, Christine (Mark) Bonke as well as many neices, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Roger's family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Friday, August 21st from 12:00-1:30pm. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Albion Cemetery.
