Ruth B. Stevenson

Obituary of Ruth B. Stevenson Albion: Ruth B. Stevenson, 96, passed away November 13, 2018 following a long illness. Ruth was born December 20, 1921 in Albion, a daughter of the late George and Clara (Peters) Bakeman. Ruth was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Ruth was a former Layout Artist at the Lake Country Penny Saver, worked at Albion Central School in the Cafeteria and was also a former member of the Orleans County Home Bureau. Ruth enjoyed sewing. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; son, Lee; brother, George Bakeman Sr.; sisters, Gwendolyn St. John and Lois Ricci. She is survived by her children, Ellen Chandler of Arcade, Claire (William) Smith of SC., Donald C. Stevenson of Albion; brother-in-law, David (Anne) Stevenson of FL.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ruth’s Memorial Service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 26 S. Main St. Albion, NY 14411 on Wednesday November 28, at 10:30am. Private interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
