Skipper D. Sheffer, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2026 at his home.
He was born July 15, 1967 in Vallejo, CA. Skipper was raised in Rochester, NY by the late Richard and Andree (Maubeaux) Sheffer.
Skipper enjoyed cars, RC's, or anything with a motor. He was also known by his family to love sweets and homecooked meals. Skipper was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His family fondly remembers him as an animal lover, having rescued many dogs and caring for neighborhood animals throughout his life.
Skipper is survived by his 6 children, Ashley, Richard, Marion, Isaac, Elayne, and little Ashley; 9 grandchildren; his sister Debbie Penders; and his beloved pets.
A celebration of Skipper's life will be held on July 15, 2026. More details will be announced by the family at a later time.
