Theodore Pedro Alicea-Smith, age 1, infant son of Joseph and Rachael Alicea-Smith, died suddenly and unexpectedly November 19, 2023 in Sisters of Charity Hospital-St. Joseph’s Campus.
He was born in Buffalo on July 23, 2022. Theodore was predeceased by his grandfather: Pedro Alicea, his uncles: George Cordero Duane Gonzalez and his great-grandmother: Concetta Backus (nee Favata).
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters: Leona, Sydney, and Skylar, his maternal grandmother: Christeen Lusk, his paternal grandmother: Virginia McCarthy, his maternal great-grandparents: Ted and Gerry Swiercznski, his several loving cousins: his aunts: Maureen Cordero, Eileen (Jimmy Aina), Colleen (Rick Brade), Cathleen (Peter Theodorakos), and his uncles: Isaiah Evans, Todd (Darla) Swiercznski and Patrick (Mattea) Swiercznski.
There will be no calling hours and a private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Theodore’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.
