(Lewiston) Thomas W. May age 67 passed away peacefully on December 13, 2021 at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, following a short illness. He was born September 1, 1954 in Niagara Falls, a son of Emily (Dzialak) and the late James May and had lived in the area most of his life.
Thomas served in the US Air Force from 1973-1981 and after, he served in the NY Air National Guard as a member of the 107th maintenance group. He was also a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter Michelle (Brian) Howes; son James (Lindsay) May; grandchildren Ava, Owen, Sofia; brother James (Debbie) May and several nieces and nephews.
His Graveside Service with Military Honors will be Wednesday December 22nd at 11:00am at WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd., Corfu NY 14036. Memorials may be made to any disabled veterans’ organization of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, Gasport, NY.
