Timothy E. Drake Sr.

(Albion) Timothy E. Drake, Sr. age 56, passed away unexpectedly at his home, September 25, 2026. He was born March 17, 1970, in Albion a son of Ralph (Martha) Drake and Evelyn Johnson (Paul) Reichhart and had lived in this area all of his life.

Tim was a member of the Albion Elks Lodge #1006 and their riding club and the Albion Sportsmen's Club. He loved the outdoors and animals and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Tim loved working on his cars, cooking, family gatherings and his foster kids. Most importantly, Tim loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye.

Tim was predeceased by his son Timothy Drake, Jr., father-in-law Roy Forsythe and sister-in-law Terri Standish.

In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Kathy; children Joshua Savage, Kristie (Roderick Cook) Savage, Brook Drake, Peyton Drake, Hunter (Mercy Sugar) Drake, Cortlin (Rachael) Artis; his 3 foster children; grandchildren Alexis Savage, Anyiah Savage, Luna Cook, Zaiden Savage, Cayden Cook, Zendaya Artis, Zariyah Artis; brothers Richard Standish, Ronald (Carren) Standish, David Wooten; step-sisters Joette Hartman, Ronette (Brian) Cassamise; best friend Robert Russell as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Thursday October 1st 4:00pm-7:00pm where his Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00pm. His burial will be on Friday October 2nd at 11:00am at Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Albion Sportsmen's Club, P.O. Box 91, Albion NY 14411.
