Obituary of Tory W. Brooks (WATERPORT)
Tory W. Brooks, age 68, died unexpectedly following a short illness 8/20/2017 in Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born 10/28/1948 in Clarendon to Scott and Josephine (Colavito) Brooks and has lived in this area his entire life. Tory was a long-time active member of the Albion Lodge #1006 BPO Elks where he chaired many committees and was a Past Exalted Ruler. He was not a fan of Winter and as such enjoyed golfing and especially travelling. He also loved his animals. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brooks was predeceased by his brothers: Lt. Commander Lawrence A. Amrose, Jack Brooks and his brothers in law David Millis and Charles Mele. He is survived by his wife of 13 years Paula, his brother: C. Scott (Linda) Brooks of Holley, his sister: Mary Jo Mele of Holley, sisters-in-law: Linda (Ken) Haley, Joanie Millis, brother-in-law: Dr. Darryl (Linda) Millis as well as several nieces, nephews and God Children. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, THURSDAY from 4-7 p.m. where Tory’s Memorial Service will follow visitation at 7 p.m. Private interment will be held in Carlton Cemetery.
