Twila "Hope" Long

Twila Hope Long, 84, of Lockport, passed away May 25, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Luthersburg, PA., May 6, 1938 a daughter of the late Robert & Fannie (Knarr) Long.  Hope was very spiritual and had attended several churches in the area.  She was a foster parent to numerous children for almost 60 years and was known as loving, caring, outgoing, hardworking, giving person.  She was a former employee of Sherwood.

Hope is survived by her loving children, Michael (Jalisha Stover) Long and Landen (Jean Bellow) Krieger; grandchildren, Mason Hale and Maxim Long; sister, Faith Bumbarger and dearly loved by several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main St. Gasport on Tuesday May 31, from 5-8pm and Wednesday at the Solid Rock Assembly of God Church 8590 Rochester Rd. Gasport from 11-12pm, followed by her funeral service.  Interment will be PA.  She loved orange flowers.  Memorials may be made to Care Net Pregnancy Center, 6712 Lincoln Ave. Lockport, NY 14094.
