William Koepsel

(Middleport) Bill Koepsel age 82, passed away October 30, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 15, 1944 in Medina, a son of the late Laverne Koepsel and Veronica Pronath.

Bill served in the US Army, earning the rank of SP4 and was proud that he went on Honor Flight Rochester Mission 54 on June 17 & 18, 2017. He retired from Niagara County Highway Department. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Medina and attended County Line Country Church in Barker. He enjoyed bowling, playing euchre with his friends at the Medina Senior Citizens Center, his animals, traveling and sporting events, especially watching the NY Yankees, the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. Most importantly, Bill was devoted to his family who admired his hardworking work ethic.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife Cindy; sister Patty Koepsel and aunt Dorothy Koepsel.

He is survived by his daughters Sherry (Michael) Petta, Amy (Kevin) Drum; grandsons Max and Tyler Chraston; sisters-in-law Gloria Arnold and Sylvia Williams as well as a niece and several nephews.

There are no prior calling hours. His Funeral Service will be Monday November 2nd at 1:00pm at the County Line Country Church, 1385 County Line Rd, Barker, NY 14012, .
